This year has already been great, all four days of it!! We started off the new year by taking Madyson, our daughter, to the Disney on Ice show.
Madyson had no idea where we were headed for the evening, but she was told she could dress up in her Princess Tiana dress. She was certain we were headed to Disneyland for the night!
She was so excited when she found out where she was at, and when she saw the Toy Story characters come out that was her reaction. Priceless!
Melissa -- Madyson's babysitter and friend -- was able to attend the show with us. She loved the show as much as Mady loved having her there!
It was a great family night, a wonderful surprise for Madyson, and the best start to the new year if I don't say so myself!
The following day we stayed home and had some long time friends over for Mimosas, Wii, and girl talk! It was a wonderful day spent gabbing and competing on fun games, what a great way to spend a Sunday!
Aunt Tina came over for the day that was filled with many laughs!
Madyson was very competitive when it came to the Wii games --- and she wasn't too bad at them either!
Chance loves his big sister!!
Chance LOVED all the attention he got from the ladies!
The following day Madyson was spoiled with having two friends over to play with, and I was even spoiled with some time with my cousin Terry! We had a great time chatting while the girls enjoyed Mady's new toys.
Addison, Madyson, and Tiffany had a great time playing together! :)
The girls exchanged late Christmas gifts. Madyson was stoked about her new Justin Bieber shirt and insisted on wearing it the next day to school!
The following day we went to have lunch with my sister and her two kids. Following lunch we went to the park right by my parent's home. I had brought Madyson's bike for her to ride and my sister and I had been talking about how Madyson and her cousin Malahkai, both 5 years old, were ready to get rid of their training wheels. Well today they both decided it was time to become a REAL big kid!!! And when Madyson rode on that big girl bike with no training wheels without falling, this proud mommy got teary eyed!! Such a precious moment, I couldn't have been more proud, not because she was able to do it but because she was brave enough to try! My daughter never ceases to impress me and to teach me to live! Love this little beauty!
